After a long day of cultural activities , events and run around in
college , your stomach will be craving for something filling. Alas!
Our pockets were empty. Thats when we remembered our friend , our
'didi'.
You
will be wondering What or who is didi ?It is in our all time
favourite 'punjabi dhaba', we found this 'Didi' who makes us feel at
home. With limited resources and great hunger, three great Hoggers
embark on this journey. Just when we were about to think we will be
stuck in rain before reaching the place, Rain god shows a little
mercy on us. It waits a little longer before it can pour down like a
imploding tank. It feels like rain prioritized you over others. Now
when you reach this 10 x 10 extremely cheerlful place , a light
hearted smile awaits you with warmest greetings ever.
Famous
for its parathas made with pure ghee, Shahi paneer that melts in your
mouth like cream, or the spicy hot mix veg that makes you want the
rose flavoured gulab jamoon. Its drizzling outside.
Sitting
in the verandah, listening to the bollywood melodies of 2000, sipping
hot tea and gulping bread pakodas, shouting repeat as if it was a bar
gives you that immense happiness we always crave for . Known for its
authenticity, the only punjabi restaurant around here. This place is
the best value for money, exotic punjabi food coupled with homely
warmth is truely a blessing.
Address: Sampige road, opposite southern star.
